A ‘sea change’ in attitudes has seen more advisers than ever include ESG factors in their fund selection process in 2020, according to Schroders.
The asset manager’s annual adviser survey found that the amount of advisers using an ESG screening process rose more than 30% this year.
From 125 advisers who took part in the survey, 74% said they explicitly consider ESG in their selection process. Asked the same question last year, just 43% said they were including ESG in their processes.
