GrowthInvest and Adam Simmonds held an investor event Monday evening at The Test Kitchen which is located in Soho, where Adam and his team showcased their culinary talents through 5 different plates, one for veg, fish, meat, cheese and ending with an indulgent dessert.

A restaurant where chefs serve the food and diners are welcomed into the art of the cooking itself with front row seats serves for an energetic service and an inclusive vibrant dining experience.

The food was beautifully detailed, we begun with a vegetable dish of broad beans, girolles, onion and pine broth which provided the perfect introduction into the seasonal journey Adam led us on.

Next up was the fish course which was scallop ceviche, green asparagus, avocado puree which was both pleasing for the eyes as well as the palette.

The meat plate was the favourite of the evening, perfectly cooked lamb, complimented by black garlic & anchovy puree, aubergine and fermented tomato. This dish stood out and was executed flawlessly, aesthetically pleasing for the eyes and charming for the taste buds.

Following the meat dish was this exquisite Carre de berry cheese dish which was coated in rosemary and thyme, with rosemary jam and perched on top of pineapple with a tapioca crisp resting on the very top, a delightfully quirky ensemble.

Lastly but certainly not least we had the dessert which consisted of milk chocolate blackcurrant and pistachio, indulgent yet light, sweet but not sickly – a wonderful ending to a skillful display of the talent Adam and his team have to offer the London restaurant scene.
