The Adviser Hour by GrowthInvest aims to provide an easily accessible educational forum for advisers to learn more about tax efficient investment, and to delve deeper into current issues facing advisers and their clients. We hope that the series will be a catalyst for growth of the industry by driving engagement with a broader segment of the UK financial Adviser marketplace. The show’s anchor and presenter for the series is the well-respected Industry figure Lawrence Gosling.

The series will focus on the benefits of the use of different types of tax efficient investments within client portfolios, the pitfalls and hurdles faced by advisers, education around the products and information. Each of the CPD-qualifying 6 episodes in this initial pilot series will feature key industry figures from product providers, financial adviser firms and trade bodies.

Registration will provide access to all 6 x episodes, either live or to view on-demand after the event, as well as provide advisers with free account access to the GrowthInvest platform.

Episode 4:

Lifting the Barriers to Advising on Tax Efficient Products

Thursday 15th March, 11:00 GMT

Barriers to using tax efficient products usually include the assumption they are simply too risky, the caution around the lack of liquidity and, put simply, a lack of understanding of the schemes and their benefits. The discussion will also look at the sometimes thorny issue of personal indemnity insurance.

Hosted by Lawrence Gosling of Vitesse Media, each episode includes an interesting mixture of industry figures from product providers, trade organisations and financial adviser firms.
