An overview and look at the current Estate Planning and IHT mitigation strategies available to advisers and their clients in the market, and discuss how these fit in with traditional wills, trusts and other estate planning methods and vehicles.

With a record £5.2BN of IHt receipts in 2017/18, IHT planning is expected to become an increasingly key area of focus for advisers. We ask a panel of industry experts to explain how advisers can access the information they need, to summarise the different strategies available in the and conduct the right suitability and due diligence, as well as for their predictions on what the future might hold, with a careful eye on the current review being conducted by Office of Tax Simplification.

We will ask a panel of experts their predictions for the next few months, how to best address perceived or real barriers to advising on tax efficient investments, and initial discussion on the current IHT review and request for evidence.

Hosted by Lawrence Gosling of Bonhill Media, each episode includes an interesting mixture of industry figures from product providers, trade organisations and financial adviser firms.
