Chairman, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Cordiant Digital infrastructure
Steven Marshall is Chairman, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Cordiant Digital infrastructure. He is Co-Head of both Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited (CORD:LSE), Chairman of Brasil Tower Corp; and a co-founding and Board Director of Paradigm Infrastructure Ltd.
Formerly President of American Tower’s core business (AMT:NYSE; market capitalisation ~$100Bn), he oversaw two $5 billion acquisitions, as well as a significant programme of organic growth and tuck-under acquisitions during his 10 year tenure. Prior to that he helped American Tower establish operations in EMEA, India and parts of Latin America. Before AMT, he was CEO of National Grid Wireless (then Europe’s largest digital infrastructure business) and Executive Chairman of a $1.5 billion fibre joint-venture between France Telecom, Sprint and National Grid. He served as Chairman of the Wireless Infrastructure Association in USA, and as a Director of the CTIA (the mobile carriers’ association in the USA).
Cordant currently owns and Mr Marshall currently chairs the Boards of CRA, Czech Republic; Emitel, Poland: Hudson Interexchange, an interconnected Data Center in NYC. Mr. Marshall trained as a building and civil engineer at the University of Manchester, UK and subsequently earned his MBA at Manchester Business School, UK.
