Rachel Smith, co-founder of Lifefyle, a life organising app, used to think her business needed an office in London. After all, it’s where the vast majority of the UK’s start-up investors are based, along with many of the networks, events and support services that can help an entrepreneur to thrive.
“We felt that we had to have a presence in London to be seen as credible,” says Mrs Smith, a former strategy consultant whose company aims to help organise individuals’ and families’ administration by making it easier to capture, store and remember tasks, events and documents.
