Enterprise investment scheme (EIS) fund manager Earthworm Limited has gone into administration following an ‘extremely challenging year’ due to Covid-19.
The firm, which focused on environmentally friendly investing, appointed Andrew Poxon and Conrad Beighton of Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery as joint administrators on 1 December 2020.
The business, which primarily invested in the food, energy and waste sectors, operated two funds: the SEIS fund and the Impact EIS fund. According to the firm’s administrators, it provided discretionary fund management services for around 900 EIS and seed enterprise investment scheme (SEIS) investors.
