SFC Capital Partners Limited will take over management of the funds

Enterprise investment scheme (EIS) fund manager Earthworm Limited has gone into administration following an ‘extremely challenging year’ due to Covid-19.

The firm, which focused on environmentally friendly investing, appointed Andrew Poxon and Conrad Beighton of Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery as joint administrators on 1 December 2020.

The business, which primarily invested in the food, energy and waste sectors, operated two funds: the SEIS fund and the Impact EIS fund. According to the firm’s administrators, it provided discretionary fund management services for around 900 EIS and seed enterprise investment scheme (SEIS) investors.
