Scott Weavers-Wright received his Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday 13 June following the announcement in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List last year.

He was awarded the honour in recognition of his services to Technology and Retail E-commerce Entrepreneurship over the past 30+ years in business.

Scott is best known for co-founding one of Britain’s largest e-commerce businesses and creating the monetisation platform Elevaate which were both acquired for north of $150m in 2011 and 2018 respectively.

Jonathan Townsend, UK Chief Executive of The Prince’s Trust said: “We are delighted that Scott has received an OBE. He continues to be a great supporter of the charity through his fundraising and commitment to mentoring young entrepreneurs we support, to achieve their potential, many of whom face multiple challenges. Congratulations Scott.”

Scott’s latest business, Haatch has made 111 investments into 75 companies which are valued in excess of £800 million creating 2000+ jobs for the UK economy.
