SJP admits it must do more to support advisers on sustainability

St James’s Place (SJP) has admitted it still has more to do to support its adviser partners in embedding sustainability.
Speaking at the company’s Chartered Symposium last week (9 February), divisional director for responsible business Vicki Foster said the group is taking strides towards becoming more sustainable.
She was responding to a question from the floor about what SJP is doing to support its partners in embracing the sustainability agenda.
“An unintended consequence of the pandemic is, of course, that we’re using PDFs with clients a lot more than hard literature,” said the attendee.
“But a lot of our clients do still want hard literature.
“Are we aware how difficult it is for us as partners to order recyclable material? Because it’s a real challenge.
