Software Developer

Richard has been a software developer since 2011 and feels uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person.

Starting off as a Java/C++ programmer in the insurance & pensions industry before briefly giving Android development a go as a test automation engineer. Richard found his true coding calling in Python at Nuvias UC as a developer on the in-house developed software platform, where he also picked up Javascript and eventually became lead developer on the team.

When he’s not working, Richard likes to spend his free time with his two kids, playing tabletop and video games, and exploring various genres of music with ‘metal’ somewhere in the name.
