Api Test Notes re TableDynamic Table for Styling from Test AP
The table above is a working API version using “Mocki.io”, a test API while the real API is being developed.
Note:
To get that the live API data into the HTML table on a page in WordPress, we have had to…
1. Connect to the API using the WPGetAPI plugin
2. That gives us an “Array Tag” which we drop into a PHP code Snippet
3. Within the snippet we can manipulate the array data using PHP (if a raw JSON object we would need to need to decode into an array)
4. That snippet gives us a shortcode we can drop into the WP page

“Ideally the products appearing on the table would also be determined by the VCT offer being set up in Phoenix, initially as coming soon and then updated to Open when it opens.”
“…the plan with Phoenix would be for us to update the excel sheet that would then update the raised amounts on the website but also feed into the offer pages so that everything is synchronised. As per the excel shared for the project the Raised amount is one that would need to feed back into Phoenix, most of the other fields, aside form the two fields we need to calculate would be data from Phoenix populating the website.” – Steve
